Description IICRC - FSRT: Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician

Duration: 2-day course - 14 IICRC CEC hours  earned

The IICRC Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician course 2 day course concentrates on how to effectively and successfully complete the restoration of a smoke and fire damaged environment.

Students will learn how to combine technical procedures with a practical approach to job site management and how that relates to pricing the job.

  • Understanding fires/smoke and the damage they cause
  • Safety and emergency services
  • Appropriate cleaning methods based on fire types
  • Guaranteed odor neutralization methods
  • Cleaning and restoring structures
  • HVAC cleaning
  • Contents cleaning and deodarization                    
  • Ultrasonics techniques


    * To receive your FSRT certification ,you must pass the final exam with 75% or higher.
    * Exam fees are $65 Us per person and must be paid directly to the IICRC at the time of the test.
    *This course qualifies for 14 continuing education credit hours (CEC) with the IICRC
    *You must obtain this certification to earn your Master Fire and Smoke Restorer designation.
