Description IICRC - AMRT: Applied Microbial Remediation Technician

Duration - 4 day course - 28 IICRC CEC hours earned

The IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician course covers mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals engaged in property management, property restoration, IEQ investigations or other related professions. Emphasis will be placed on teaching mould and sewage remediation techniques to individuals who will perform these procedures in the field.

Day 1 - Principles of Mould & Sewage Damage Remediation - Microbiology, Antimicrobials, Safety
Day 2 - General Remediation Procedural Methods - Containment, Air Flow, Remediation
Day 3 - Classroom and Hands on - 20% of the class - Standard & Guidelines
Day 4 - Practical Applications - Remediation Procedures

Course graduates will be adequately equipped to perform remediation services, while protecting the health and safety of workers and occupants.

*** Please Note - Exam fees are additional and must be paid at time of exam. Exam fees are $150.00 US per person and fees are payable directly to the IICRC.

Must have WRT - Water Restoration Technician certification to Obtain AMRT Certification
