This four day course will be held in Montreal at the Safety Express / SelectPro's 's NEW 2000 sq. ft. outdoor 2000 Sq. ft. two storey flood house.

The Applied Structural Drying course covers the structural drying techniques and the science of drying. A review of safety and personal protection equipment. There will be demonstrations and explanations of various tools and equipment, including;humidity sensors, extraction tools, ventilation equipment, dehumidifiers, air purifiers and more. 

Students will learn technical monitoring and documentation, Psychrometrics and microbiology.

WRT is a pre-requisite to attend this course.

Michel Forget, IICRC Certified Instructor, worked in the industry for over 30 years and has been teaching restorative drying courses in Quebec for numerous years. Michel, a fully-bilingual instructor, will animate the 4-day course where participants will dry our new 2000 sq. ft., two-storey house which will have been completely flooded with 2000 liters of water. More than 50 different types of materials were used in the construction of the house including; hardwood flooring, two different types of carpeting, a subfloor in the basement, a crawlspace that incorporates cement and soil, and much more, all of which allow us to demonstrate the numerous drying methods that are available.

*** Please Note - Exam fees are additional and must be paid at time of exam. Exam fees are $150.00 US per person and fees are payable directly to the IICRC.
